Ashleigh Thoman, MAI is a Senior Director with Cushman & Wakefield Western, Inc. in San Francisco. A member of the Valuation & Advisory group, she performs appraisal and consulting services throughout the country on various types of existing and proposed properties focusing on the Northern California region. She has broad experience valuing many different property types including retail, office, multi-family, industrial, conservation easements, agricultural land, wineries and vineyards, development land, subdivisions, shopping centers, hotels (going concern), high vacancy properties, and ground leases.  Intended uses of appraisal assignments include lending purposes, estate and tax planning, financial reporting (ASC Topics 805, 350, 360, 820, 840, 842), litigation support, and charitable contribution work. Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield, Ms. Thoman was a Manager at the national firm Andersen Tax where she performed national commercial real estate valuations.  She also previously spent three years working on residential appraisals in the Los Angeles and Orange County regions of Southern California for refinancing purposes.

Ashleigh is a Member of the Appraisal Institute (MAI) and is a Certified General Appraiser in the State of California.  She has completed over 300 hours of education in the real estate valuation field.
