Recent Projects
• Brandeis: Site Committee Chair responsible for the master plan of a school facility on 4 acres of land with 65,000 SF of buildings in a three phase project for Bradei Hillel Day School. Oversaw budgeting and design process, construction, and contractor and architecture selection.
• One of three partners of ETZ Hashaked Development in Israel. Currently developing multiple buildings including a ±200,000 SF commercial project in Jerusalem, two residential projects in Jerusalem and two residential developments in Tel Aviv. Involved in the oversight of the projects from entitlement to raising capital to delivery of units. Collectively, we have developed over 1,500 apartment units.
• BRE: Managed assemblage of properties for a 250-unit residential project in Emeryville, CA.
• Magnes: Chair of the development team in the planning process for the re-design & development of 2121 Allston Way, a 25,000 SF office building for the use as a museum & office for the University of California. Barry led the negotiations in the merger between the Judah L. Magnes Musuem & University of California.
