Clarke Lewis is an Executive Managing Director of Cushman & Wakefield Global Services, Inc., and Practice Group Lead of the Appraisal Management Group within Cushman and Wakefield’s Valuation & Advisory service line. Mr. Lewis joined Cushman & Wakefield in April 2004 overseeing the Appraisal Management Group.

Mr. Lewis was a commercial real estate appraiser at Peter F. Korpacz & Associates Inc. from July 1986 to June 1995. He was responsible for appraisals for mortgage financing, equity purchases, feasibility studies on proposed developments, portfolio review, land use studies and highest and best use analysis.

In July 1995 he joined HSBC Bank USA as Vice President in the Real Estate Appraisal Review Unit. In August 1999 Mr. Lewis was elected as First Vice President and became manager, Real Estate Services, where he managed the appraisal review unit, environmental risk unit and flood certification area. While at HSBC Bank USA, he was responsible for final valuations and environmental recommendations for, in excess of 1,100 commercial properties per year. The properties ranged from small owner-occupied HSBC branch originated transactions to some of the largest commercial real estate transactions in the country. These larger assignments were performed for the bank’s commercial real estate finance group, which had a portfolio in excess of $10 billion dollars and multiple national locations. Mr. Lewis was employed with HSBC Bank USA through December 2003.

Appraisal and consulting assignments have included vacant land, air rights, office buildings, shopping centers, industrial complexes, commercial properties, universities, residential properties, hotels, resort properties/golf courses, utilities, and investment properties throughout the United States. Valuations have been made of proposed, partially completed, renovated and existing structures. Qualified as an expert witness in condemnation matters in the State of New York and testified in bankruptcy litigation in the State of New York.
