David Beshears, MAI, began his career with GA/Partners, a national consulting firm in Washington, D.C. and was involved in valuation assignments throughout the United States. In 1987, he joined Cushman & Wakefield Capital Markets Group and was involved in the exclusive sale of over twenty properties. In 1994, he founded Beshears & Associates a commercial real estate appraisal firm that operated throughout the southeastern United States. In late 2019, Beshears & Associate’s 10-member team joined the Cushman & Wakefield Valuation & Advisory Group. In 2021 David was asked to be the Southeast Market Lead for Valuation and Advisory and oversees a team of 75 team members in 10 offices in Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, and Tennessee.
He is a member of the Appraisal Institute and a member of Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors. He is a State-Certified General Appraiser in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, and Tennessee. His appraisal experience ranges from the valuation of individual properties to large, diverse national portfolios.
