Mr. Koller is the national practice lead for machinery & equipment valuation and the co-lead for the government practice, too. He has extensive industry experience valuing equipment utilized in: agriculture, asphalt and concrete, automotive, banks, broadcast and communications, chemicals, data centers, energy, entertainment, food production, foundries, general manufacturing, healthcare, hospitality, injection molding, Internet infrastructure, life sciences, medical device, metalworking, packaging, paper, petroleum, pharmaceutical, plastics, restaurants, steel service, and telecommunications.
He has been active in the appraisal industry since 1998, and specializes in the allocation of purchase price, insurance valuation, fresh start accounting, lease and collateral evaluation, litigation support, and property tax analysis. Mr. Koller began his career focusing in appraisal, end of lease transactions, and asset management for equipment leasing and financing institutions.
He has expertise in the appraisal & recovery/resale of equipment in high technology industries including broadcast, data networking, and communications infrastructure. Before joining Cushman & Wakefield, he was the National Practice Leader of Marshall & Stevens’ Capital Asset Valuation Group.
Mr. Koller’s appraisal work has involved projects throughout the United States, as well as in Brazil, Canada, Columbia, Costa Rica, France, Germany, Italy, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Poland, Russia, Spain, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom.

My team has experience servicing clients ranging from multi-national corporations to private equity and closely-held businesses, and we have diversified case experience covering many issues, industries, and property types. Our assignments have included a 310-bed healthcare complex in the Southeast, a $250-million Tier 1 auto parts facility, the largest beef processor in the U.S., a permanently moored luxury ocean cruise ship, a 24.5-megawatt Northeast biomass energy producer, and one of the most recognizable sports broadcast technology companies.
