Elizabeth Holmes is a Senior Associate for Cushman & Wakefield’s Melville, New York office, focusing on Landlord/Tenant Representation and Investment Sales. She has successfully completed industrial, office, and retail transactions – her expertise being a keen understanding of the breadth and depth of the markets she services. Among her most recent and complex transactions was the sale of a multi-tenanted 38,500-sf brownfield industrial property. Elizabeth also represented Big Brothers Big Sisters Long Island (BBBSLI), Bridge and Tunnel Officers Benevolent Association, and Queens Local Union 45 UBC&JA in the acquisition and leasing of their headquarters.

A graduate of New York Law School, Elizabeth’s legal background has proven to be a valuable asset in her commercial real estate career. Elizabeth has more than two decades of experience in both the public and private sectors, including serving as Communications Director to then-Minority Leader and New York City Council Member James S. Oddo and Public Affairs Officer at New York City Department of Design and Construction. She has also served as a government relations advisor for a Manhattan-based lobbyist and as Vice President of Community Relations for a residential real estate firm.

Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield, Elizabeth specialized in Industrial Sales and Leasing at Premier Commercial Real Estate and provided Landlord and Tenant Advisory Services at the Rochlin Organization.

Elizabeth possesses a vast array of business management and public service experience, combined with a legal background, allowing her to advance complex transactions with tenacity, creativity, and skill.
