I create value to my clients through identifying cost savings, strategic deal structuring, market growth predictions and my deep understanding of market conditions and trends.
What innovative trends across Workplace and PropTech are you leveraging in your market or sector to help keep your clients competitive?
Best-in-class amenities are definitely a focus, with increased outdoor options including outdoor workspaces and even outdoor conference rooms, especially in California and other West Coast markets. For example, a client executive now takes 65% of his meetings outside. Also, a variety of video and 3D capture technology like Matterport — a global partner to Cushman & Wakefield — are being used to tour and showcase space to clients anywhere in the country.
If you had a lens into the future, where do you think Occupiers will be most focused in 2025?
In the wake of remote working at a massive scale in 2021 and the growing employee demand for a variable workplace model, the future will see Occupiers focused on how to impact and increase employee productivity in the office.

He sits on the boards of several charitable organizations including Goodwill of Silicon Valley, First Tee of Monterey County, the Pay it Forward Foundation, the San Jose Sports Authority, and the San Francisco Public Golf Alliance.
A graduate of the University of San Francisco, Erik enjoys playing golf, travel, skiing, wine, spending time with family, and mentoring first-generation college students through his charitable work.
