With over thirty years of commercial real estate experience, Greg Masin is recognized as one of the leading experts in urban retail leasing in Florida and consistently ranks among the top retail leasing professionals at Cushman & Wakefield. Greg leads a successful team of seasoned retail brokers that execute on behalf of clients throughout the State of Florida
Greg and his team have completed multiple flagship transactions in South Florida on behalf of ownership including the Zara store on Lincoln Road, H&M on Collins Avenue, CB2 just off Lincoln Road, and Equinox Fitness on Collins Avenue among many.
He has represented Citibank for over 20 years in the South Florida market, assisting them in developing a branch network with double the concentration of deposits than any of its competitors. He represented Il Gabianno in its acquisition of one of Miami’s most elegant waterfront dining establishments. He assisted Dollar Tree in their South Florida rollout, completing over thirty transactions with them and renegotiated hundreds of lease for Starbucks during the Great Recession.
In the designer hard goods category, he has represented Janus et Cie among others in the Design District and helped establish the Steinway Piano Gallery in Coral Gables. He was on the team that has represented Crate and Barrel in its successful relocation to the Shops at Merrick Park, the first and only relocation in the chain’s history.
Additional client assignments have included Lalique, Lacoste, Zilli, Prada and Desigual.
Prior to working at C&W, Greg was the senior leasing agent for Venturvest Realty corporation, a real estate services organization that specialized in Florida retail properties. He was responsible for a portfolio of over four million square feet of retail space. Prior to Venturvest Realty Corporation, Greg spent seven years with regional and local Florida financial institutions, including Southeast Bank and Mellon United National Bank, in commercial real estate loan production, underwriting and servicing commercial real estate lending portfolios.
