CoreNet Global  – A non-profit corporate real estate association based in Atlanta, Georgia, representing executives in 50 countries who manage the real estate assets of large corporations; its members include half of the Forbes Global 2000.  CoreNet Global holds conferences for networking and professional development, conducts surveys, and publishes research and real estate data for use by the media. 

USGBC (U.S. Green Building Council) – A non-profit organization that promotes sustainability in building design, construction, and operation. USGBC is best known for its development of the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) green building rating systems.  Through its partnership with the Green Business Certification Inc. (GBCI), USGBC offers a suite of LEED professional credentials that denote expertise in the field of green building. USGBC incentivizes LEED certification by awarding extra certification points to building projects completed with a LEED-certified professional on staff.

ULI (Urban Land Institute) – A global nonprofit research and education organization with regional offices in Washington D.C., Hong Kong and London aiming to help its members and their partners build more equitable, sustainable, healthy and resilient communities.  ULI focuses on best practices in real estate development, housing, transportation, and related topics.  It provides technical assistance in communities via advisory panels, hosts conferences, produces reports, collects and shares industry benchmarks and guidance, and offers learning opportunities and courses.  

Climatebase – A top hiring platform for the climate workforce, helping climate tech and renewable energy companies and environmental nonprofits hire top mission-driven talent, (similar to a “LinkedIn for Climate”).

Net Impact – A nonprofit membership organization for students and professionals interested in using business skills in support of various social and environmental causes. From its central office in Oakland, the organization supports over 300 autonomous volunteer-run chapters and a membership base of over 100,000, with programs and networking events centered on topics such as corporate social responsibility, social entrepreneurship, nonprofit management, international development, and environmental sustainability.
