Karoline Eigel is a commercial real estate broker with 20+ years of commercial and multi-family leasing, sales, marketing, advertising and public relations experience. Currently expanding the Healthcare Advisory team at Cushman & Wakefield, as well as the Agency Office team, Karoline is utilizing her expertise in healthcare and life science to grow the burgeoning footprint in the Chicagoland market. Prior to joining C&W, Ms. Eigel lead the leasing team for Harrison Square Chicago, a 13-acre life science and medical office innovation hub located within the Illinois Medical District. The first phase of the $1 billion redevelopment project delivered in June of 2020 and consists of the redevelopment of Old Cook County Hospital, a 342,000 square foot 106-year-old structure. The new iteration of the historic landmark includes a dual-branded 210-room hotel, Cook County Health medical offices, a childcare center, and a food hall- the first of its kind in the IMD. Subsequent phases will include retail, residential, lab and medical office.

As a commercial real estate consultant, she was a principal at MarketHooks Consulting, where she developed and managed an extensive portfolio of leasing programs and marketing initiatives for national and international institutional investors and developers, as well worked with product leasing teams to develop and implement leasing/marketing strategies. Notable clients include CIM Group, GE Asset Management, McCaffery Interests, Silverpeak Real Estate Partners, Draper & Kramer, The Trump Organization and Fulcrum Properties. Prior to commercial real estate, Ms. Eigel created and ran the luxury and development marketing programs for what is now Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Chicago and worked as a managing broker for some of Chicago's top new construction developments. As a C-suite officer, Karoline was a member of MBRE’s Executive Committee, which determined the firm’s future direction, supported tactical efforts, and monitored the implementation of strategic business plans and operations.

Ms. Eigel is on the Board of Directors and is a mentor for the HEAR Foundation (HEARFoundation.org), which provides $20,000 college scholarships and four years of mentoring to excelling Chicagoland high school seniors who are outstanding citizens in financial need.
