Matthew Goldberg is a Senior Director in Cushman & Wakefield’s Washington D.C. office. Matthew is part of Cushman & Wakefield’s Tenant Advisory Group and Legal Sector Advisory Group, where he exclusively represents tenants in lease renegotiations, restructures, and relocations throughout the D.C. metro region and nationally. Matthew’s additional area of expertise is working closely with private equity firms for their manufacturing portfolio clients, advising in single-tenant sale leasebacks and portfolio optimization.  

A 5th generation Washingtonian, Matthew prides himself on his relationships within the commercial real estate industry and beyond. Prior to commercial real estate, he worked on the NYMEX and music industry. His unique set of business networking skills has lent itself well to procuring business and connecting with clients. Since joining Cushman & Wakefield, Matthew has launched a podcast, Suite Series, where he interviews entrepreneurs and c-suite executives, discussing leadership, mentorship, and real estate. Matt also serves on the Business Advisory Council at Martha’s Table.
