Paula’s varied experience encompasses consulting and appraisal of properties for institutional funds, portfolio valuation, lease arbitration, financing, property due diligence, litigation over environmental concerns, property tax matters, and building defects and current property value appraisals. She has worked for noted clients such as Brookfield Properties, ExxonMobil, BP America, Hines, AIG, CalPERS, TIAA-CREF/Nuveen, Invesco, New Tower Trust/Bentall Kennedy and JP Morgan across 150 cities in the U.S. and Canada. She has appraised trophy properties such as The General Motors building, Rockefeller Center, Rowes Wharf, Mall of America, BG Group Place, Hess Tower, Houston Galleria, The US Steel Building, Ritz Carlton and Marriott Hotels, and Transamerica Tower.
Paula joined Cushman & Wakefield in 2022 from Colliers where she was the Institutional Valuation Leader. In this role, she and her Houston-based team were responsible for growing the valuation practice nationwide for institutional investors. Prior to her tenure at Colliers, Paula was a principal at Thoreen Hale, which she founded with her partner Gary Hale.
