Reed Hatcher joined Cushman & Wakefield in 2016, initially serving as Head of Research for Hong Kong, before relocating to New York in 2021. In his current role, Reed is a Senior Manager in the New York City department, leading a team of analysts in producing monthly and quarterly market reports, industry insight, and thought leadership, with a particular focus on the city’s office leasing market.

Reed has over 20 years of experience in the real estate industry. He started his career with the Consulting & Research team of DTZ in Shanghai, China, in 2001. In 2006, Reed moved to CBRE in Shanghai, where he progressed through senior consulting roles over 10 years, including Senior Director of Occupier Consulting, China and Senior Advisor to APAC Consulting. In these roles, he advised high-profile clients on their real estate decisions and drove key initiatives in Asia Pacific region on best practices and cross-country consultancy engagements.

Throughout his career, he has worked with various high-profile clients, including Silverstein Properties, Morgan Stanley, JPMorgan, Citigroup, Deutsche Bank, LaSalle Investment Management, ING Real Estate, Mitsui Fudosan, Lendlease, Disney, Walmart, McDonald’s, and Nike.
