Ricardo Rodriguez is a Director with Cushman & Wakefield Western, Inc. in San Francisco. A member of the Cushman & Wakefield (C&W) Valuation & Advisory group since 2018, he performs appraisal and consulting services throughout Northern California on several types of existing and proposed properties. Ricardo performs appraisals for loan origination, refinancing, asset management, highest and best use analysis, feasibility studies, and market rent studies. With a background as a generalist, he has appraised a wide variety of property types, emphasizing multifamily, industrial, and life science properties. Ricardo’s experience in multifamily appraisal is especially comprehensive, including the spectrum of proposed and existing market rate, rent controlled, condominium, inclusionary and student housing properties. His industrial experience includes cold-storage, Flex/R&D, warehouse, and manufacturing uses and has grown to include biotech and life science properties. Ricardo also has experience with professional and medical office and retail properties from owner occupied buildings to office parks and shopping centers. As a senior valuation professional, Ricardo serves as a mentor to associate appraisers in C&W’s Associate Development Program. In this role, he is responsible for ensuring that rising appraisal leaders excel and meet the challenge of C&W’s standard of professionalism in its Valuation &Advisory group. Prior to joining C&W, Ricardo was a Senior Associate at the San Francisco appraisal firm Hamilton, Ricci & Associates from 2007 to 2018. Ricardo is a Bay Area native and has an intimate knowledge of the nine-county region, which has been developed on a personal, as well as professional, level. He has been a Certified General Appraiser in the State of California since 2014 and became a Designated Member of the Appraisal Institute (MAI) in 2019.
