Ron Granite is a Director with Cushman & Wakefield’s Equity, Debt and Structured Finance platform and part of Cushman & Wakefield’s South Florida Capital Markets Team. He has 15+ years of experience in the commercial real estate industry, which includes capital markets, portfolio management, asset management and finance. Mr. Granite has been involved in over $2 billion of commercial real estate transactions with deal experience including commercial mortgages, secured and unsecured term loans/credit facilities, IPO’s and acquisitions. Mr. Granite’s role at Cushman & Wakefield involves business development and assisting clients with procurement of senior and subordinate debt, as well as equity for stabilized, value-add, construction, recapitalization and adaptive reuse opportunities across the retail, office, industrial and self-storage sectors.

Prior to Cushman & Wakefield, Mr. Granite spent nearly a decade in the retail sector working for various retail operating platforms in the previously mentioned capacities. His experience includes integral roles at IRC Retail Centers, where he oversaw a ~$1B valued joint venture retail portfolio, and at Brixmor Property Group, where he oversaw a 27M SF portfolio in their respective portfolio management and finance groups. Some of his accomplishments include the restructuring and refinancing of over $200M in debt and serving as a key support member in the privatization and IPO of a REIT. Other firms that Mr. Granite has worked with include Lehman Brothers, CBRE, Rouse Properties and Houlihan-Parnes.
