Tim Garey joined Cushman & Wakefield of Oregon, Inc. in 2001 in Portland’s Valuation & Advisory service line. During his tenure, he has worked on various property portfolios throughout the U.S., while maintaining a constant working relationship with local clients and property types. Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield, Mr. Garey was employed from 1990 to 2001 by Palmer, Groth, & Pietka, Inc., a regional appraisal firm based in Portland.

Appraisal and consulting assignments have included vacant land, office buildings, shopping centers, industrial complexes, self storage facilities, automobile dealerships, golf courses, veterinary clinics, manufactured housing communities and other investment properties throughout the U.S.

Mr. Garey has been focusing primarily on Self Storage valuation over the past 15 years and has performed valuations throughout the western U.S. He has worked on acquisitions, portfolios, new development, and expansions. He is the Practice Lead of Cushman & Wakefield Valuation & Advisory National Self Storage Practice Group. In addition, he is a member of the Golf Practice Group.
