Tom joined Cushman & Wakefield in 2018 based in the firm’s global headquarters in downtown Chicago, Illinois. As a member of the firm’s national capital markets practice, Tom and his team advise institutional and private clients in the disposition, acquisition, recapitalization, and financing of commercial real estate investment properties throughout Chicago and Midwest region. Tom is a member of Cushman & Wakefield’s Office Investment Advisors (OIA) practice group.
Throughout his career, Mr. Sitz has been involved with investment real estate transactions across Chicago and the Midwest region with combined value in excess of $10 billion and covering more than 60 million square feet of product. Mr. Sitz and his team’s transactional expertise and experience ranges from trophy high-rise office towers to boutique creative office buildings, as well as the full spectrum of suburban and secondary Midwest market transactions. Tom and his team’s transactional expertise and experience also includes life sciences/R&D/lab, industrial/flex, retail, mixed-use, redevelopment/adaptive reuse, and land properties.
Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield, Tom was with CBRE’s Capital Markets Institutional Properties group where he and his team advised clients in the sale, recapitalization, and financing of investment real estate throughout the Chicago area and broader Midwest region. Prior to joining CBRE, Mr. Sitz and his team were with Grubb & Ellis (now Newmark) in the firm’s Institutional Capital Markets Group.
