Vicente Cantua is a third-generation real estate professional with a deep-rooted passion for the industry. Inspired by his grandfather, Joe Ruterman—who owned a residential real estate firm and specialized in land sales in Arizona—Vicente developed an early enthusiasm for the field. His uncle, Mike Ruterman, further mentored him in the intricacies of industrial real estate across Arizona and Mexico.

With a strong background in the hospitality industry, Vicente leverages his customer service expertise to deliver exceptional client experiences. His ability to build lasting relationships and provide strategic real estate solutions sets him apart in the commercial sector.

A Tucson, Arizona native, Vicente excelled academically and athletically in high school. He lettered in volleyball, track, basketball, and golf while also dedicating hundreds of hours to community service as a four-year member of student government. Graduating as valedictorian of Cholla High School, he achieved the highest GPA among more than 300 graduating seniors.

Vicente attended The University of Arizona on a full academic scholarship, maintaining it throughout his four years while earning a degree in Regional Development. A standout athlete, he played on the university’s men’s volleyball team and won the 2005 NIRSA National Volleyball Championship. Additionally, as a founding father of Sigma Pi Fraternity, he honed strong leadership skills that continue to serve him in his professional career.

During his tenure at his previous firm, Vicente was recognized for his dedication and work ethic, earning the Prospector of the Year Award in both 2017 and 2018 after making over 10,000 prospecting calls in a single year. He was also part of the SVN Deal of the Year award-winning multifamily team in 2017. Before transitioning to a new opportunity, Vicente's multifamily team was ranked among the Top 10 Multifamily Teams in Arizona by Ranking Arizona Magazine.

In April 2019, Vicente relocated from Phoenix to Salt Lake City, where he successfully established a new client base in a competitive market. Within two years, he ranked as a Top 5 Producer in Cushman & Wakefield’s Salt Lake City office in 2020 and remains a consistent Top 10 Producer.

Now residing in Salt Lake City with his wife, Ashley, and their three dogs, Vicente enjoys playing sand volleyball in his free time. He is also deeply committed to philanthropy, actively supporting underprivileged families with food, housing, and other essential needs—both locally and in Eswatini, Africa.
