Leading global commercial real estate services firm, Cushman & Wakefield, today announced that it has strengthened its Australian capital markets platform with the appointment of Simone Dalley as Director of Capital Markets in Brisbane.
Simone joins Cushman & Wakefield following 6 years with LaSalle Investment Management where she was Regional Director and Fund Manager of the LaSalle Australia Core Plus Fund. In these roles, Simone was leading multi-disciplinary teams executing fund and asset level strategies. Throughout her career, Simone has completed over 70 capital transactions with a total value of approximately AUD1.3 billion. Simone’s capital transaction expertise spans all aspects of the investment lifecycle including origination, valuation, analysis, and contract negotiations and settlement.
Simone will work closely with James Quigley, Head of Capital Markets, Australia and New Zealand and the national capital markets team, focusing on institutional and offshore clients in the Brisbane CBD and the city fringe.
Cushman & Wakefield continue to grow its capital markets team in Brisbane in response to continuing demand from institutional and private investors in a range of commercial property asset classes
According to Cushman & Wakefield research, investment into Brisbane commercial property during the third quarter continued to strengthen, rising 35% to $4.1bn. This was driven by $1.9bn in investment into the office sector reflecting more than 100% increase over the June quarter.
