Building a World of Possibilities—Together
At Cushman & Wakefield, we believe our greatest achievements come from bringing together the brightest minds—people of all backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives. Innovation thrives when we foster an environment where every individual is valued, empowered and able to contribute their best work.
Inclusion isn’t just a core value, it’s a competitive advantage. By embracing unique viewpoints and fresh ideas, we’re setting the standard in exceptional problem-solving, advisory and execution across the built environment. Our commitment to fostering a workplace where everyone can excel leads to stronger outcomes for our clients and the communities we serve.
No matter how far we’ve come, we will never settle when creating a culture where opportunity, respect, and impact are at the heart of everything we do.
Global Strategy & Priorities
We don’t just attract top talent—we create an environment where they can thrive and drive meaningful impact. Our approach shapes culture through strategic systems, policies, and decisions that fuel both business success and community well-being. By nurturing an environment of curiosity, continuous learning, growth, and belonging, we create lasting social and economic value while setting new standards for excellence, which creates long-term value for our shareholders.
Employee Resource Groups
At the heart of our commitment to fostering meaningful impact and inclusion are nine Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) that are available for all employees to join. These ERGs are employee-led teams, united by a shared vision, who are contributing measurably to making inclusivity a driving force behind our collective success.
Our ERGs play a critical role in cultivating employee engagement and strengthening the sense of community within our organization, which in turn fuels the success of our business. The ERGs organize events and engagement opportunities that focus on key areas such as professional development, community engagement, recruitment, and cultural, or historical observances, as appropriate. We encourage all employees to join, participate, engage, and contribute through our ERGs.
STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIPS
Our external partners are reputable, best-in-class organizations with subject matter expertise and align to colleague engagement and development, candidate sourcing and recruitment, client engagement, thought leadership and branding and visibility.
JobSupport Australia
We partner with JobSupport Australia to provide meaningful employment opportunities to candidates with intellectual disabilities. With seven JobSupport placements in corporate offices and client offices thus far, we're proud ambassadors of this initiative as we continue to develop an inclusive workforce across the business.
Working with Artists with a Disability
Since 2017, Cushman & Wakefield has worked alongside Sydney based artist Digby Webster to create artwork for the offices, client and staff gifts and branding for our Inclusion Network, as well as Tumbalong Lights.
ACON Partnership
We’re a proud member of ACONs Pride in Inclusion program; Australia’s first and only national not-for-profit employer support program for all aspects of LGBTQ workplace inclusion.
OUR PEOPLE
Celebrating International Day of People with Disability
At Cushman & Wakefield, we are committed to building an engaged workforce and supporting an inclusive culture where our colleagues can do their best work. As a global leader in the commercial real estate services industry, we shape communities and create inclusive built environments for our clients. That is why we are particularly proud to celebrate International Day of People with Disability (IDPwD).
IDPwD’s purpose is to promote an understanding of disability issues and mobilize support for the dignity, rights and well-being of persons with disabilities. More personally, it is a day when each of us can pause and reflect on the individual and collective roles we can play in identifying and addressing discrimination, marginalization, exclusion and inaccessibility that many people with disabilities face.
Our Leading with Education and Awareness of Disabilities (LEAD) Employee Resource Group (ERG) is one way we bring our inclusive culture to life. LEAD’s mission is to cultivate a work environment that erases the barriers holding back people affected by disabilities. We are proud to showcase the impact our teams make in disability inclusion Asia Pacific, Europe and the Americas.
Disability Action Plan
Cushman & Wakefield is proud to launch our Disability Action Plan (DAP) in Australia. This marks a transformative milestone in our ongoing commitment to creating a more inclusive and accessible future for our colleagues, clients, and communities.
Through collaboration with industry experts, advocacy groups, and the dedication of our talented teams, we are driving positive change—fostering workplaces and communities.
At Cushman & Wakefield, we will never settle for anything less than inclusion. Download the DAP.
