OUR PEOPLE
Celebrating International Day of People with Disability
At Cushman & Wakefield, we are committed to building an inclusive and engaged workforce and supporting an inclusive culture where our colleagues can do their best work. As a global leader in the commercial real estate services industry, we shape communities and create inclusive built environments for our clients. That is why we are particularly proud to celebrate International Day of People with Disability (IDPwD).
IDPwD’s purpose is to promote an understanding of disability issues and mobilize support for the dignity, rights and well-being of persons with disabilities. More personally, it is a day when each of us can pause and reflect on the individual and collective roles we can play in identifying and addressing discrimination, marginalization, exclusion and inaccessibility that many people with disabilities face.
Our Leading with Education and Awareness of Disabilities (LEAD) Employee Resource Group (ERG) is one way we bring our inclusive culture to life. LEAD’s mission is to cultivate a work environment that erases the barriers holding back people affected by disabilities. We are proud to showcase the impact our teams make in disability inclusion Asia Pacific, Europe and the Americas.
Gender Inclusion
At Cushman & Wakefield, we prioritise inclusivity to empower every individual, irrespective of gender or identity, fostering a culture that enhances collective potential and attracts top-tier talent. View our WEGEA Employer Statement.
Disability Action Plan
Cushman & Wakefield is proud to launch our Disability Action Plan (DAP) in Australia. This marks a transformative milestone in our ongoing commitment to creating a more inclusive and accessible future for our colleagues, clients, and communities.
Our DAP is more than just a policy—it’s a promise. A promise to align our workplaces, culture, and business practices with our long-term vision of inclusivity. Through collaboration with industry experts, advocacy groups, and the dedication of our talented teams, we are driving positive change—fostering workplaces and communities.
At Cushman & Wakefield, we will never settle for anything less than inclusion. Download the DAP.
PURPLE PARADE
Marching For Disability Awareness at The Purple Parade
To celebrate the 10th anniversary of The Purple Parade, we undertook a number of activities in Singapore, including an internal awareness event, digital media campaign and participated in the 5000-person march through the streets of Singapore.
Led by Max Tan, 60 people from Cushman & Wakefield Singapore and C&W Services Singapore marched in support of inclusion and to celebrate abilities and support inclusion of People with Disabilities at the parade.
The Purple Parade is a unifying national platform to promote awareness and celebrate the abilities of Persons with Disabilities (PwDs) and to ensure that these individuals have equal access to education, employment, transport and social networks. We are proud to be associated with the event for the second year in a row.
