Cushman & Wakefield has today announced the appointment of George Mair as Director, Tenant Advisory Group (TAG) in Perth, strengthening the team’s footprint in WA and complementing the business’ national presence.
George will work alongside Michael Kearins, Managing Director, Tenant Advisory Group, and provide strategic leasing advice to a range of clients both national and across the Perth office market.
George has over five years’ experience across occupier solutions, leasing and property acquisitions. He joins Cushman & Wakefield from Mair Property Funds where he was focused on the acquisition of office assets in Perth.
Prior to that, he was an Associate Director of Real Estate for WeWork Australia & New Zealand during a phase of strong growth in the co-working space over a number of years. Over this time, George concluded many highly complicated leasing transactions including multiple pre-commit deals for new developments and large refurbishments.
During his time at WeWork the business’ footprint grew from five to 21 committed locations in Australia and New Zealand, across more than 120,000 square metres of office space. George transacted in all major Australian and New Zealand markets with a range of both private and institutional landlords.
George was also formerly a Consultant, Occupier Solutions at Knight Frank Australia, supporting a range of office leasing transactions in key east coast markets. He holds a bachelor’s degrees of Science and Commerce from UWA and a Masters of Property and Development from UNSW.
