Cushman & Wakefield Builds Market Leading Capital Markets Industrial & Logistics Platform Across Australia

Cushman & Wakefield is gearing up for an exciting 2023 with the appointment of five new Capital Markets Industrial & Logistics team members in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane, including the internal appointment of Simon Fenn.

 

These new recruits follow the appointments late last year of Tony Iuliano, International Director - Head of Industrial & Logistics ANZ and Adrian Rowse, National Director - Capital Markets Industrial & Logistics ANZ, with further announcements to be made in the coming months.

 

Simon Fenn, National Director - Capital Markets Industrial & Logistics NSW - after two extremely successful years as Managing Director CRE, ANZ, Simon has made the decision to return to Capital Markets focused specifically on Industrial & Logistics. With over 22 years’ experience specialising in global Capital Markets, Simon will further strengthen the team both locally and offshore.

 

Chris Jones, National Director - Capital Markets Industrial & Logistics ANZ has 22 years’ experience in the Industrial and Logistics market, having sold in excess of $1 billion of industrial investments over the past two and half years, and specialises in all facets of income producing assets with a heavy focus on the Institutional and private sectors.

 

Gary Hyland, National Director - Capital Markets Industrial & Logistics QLD  has over 20 years’ experience in the Brisbane Industrial Market, specialising in investment sales, vacant land and building sales, project marketing, leasing and pre-leasing and has been involved in a number of high-profile transactions during his career, including the sale of Metroplex Westgate, Wacol ($60M), ALDI Distribution Centre Portfolio ($648M), Metcash Distribution Centre, Crestmead ($186.3M), and multiple 50% interest stakes in the Coles Distribution Centre, Parkinson most recently for ($177.4M).

 

Charlie Holmes, Associate Director - Capital Markets Industrial & Logistics VIC has almost 10 years’ experience and has worked on in excess of $8 billion of successful industrial and logistics investment transactions, nationally. Brendan Harrison, Senior Analyst - Capital Markets Industrial & Logistics ANZ is a Certified Property Valuer and investment analyst with approximately 14 years’ experience.

 

Alexandra Teeuwsen has also joined the AUS Industrial & Logistics team as National Operations Manager and has over 12 years’ experience with a degree in Property and Valuation.

 

Matthew Bouw, Cushman & Wakefield’s Chief Executive, Asia Pacific, said that Cushman & Wakefield has been aggressively building a full service Industrial & Logistics platform across Asia Pacific over the last five years, through a mixture of M&A, strategic hiring, and organic growth.

“These recent hires will augment the already strong team we have in the Australian market. They will also benefit from the recent appointments we made in Singapore, with Gordon Marden relocating from HK to Singapore as Head of Capital Markets, Asia Pacific, and James Young moving from London to Singapore to lead Investor Services for us across Asia Pacific and EMEA.
