Helen joined National Program Services (NPS) Defence account in February 2018 as GEMS Admin Team Leader. The GEMS Admin Team was formed in February of 2018 to lead the transition of program management form an external data management system, to GEMS; a Defence owned data management system.

NPS is responsible for program services to the Directorate of the Estate Works Program Organisation (DEWPO); including bundling projects for delivery by external providers; and the governance of project scope, budget and schedule.

In her role, Helen is responsible for leading the GEMS Team to process project transactions, maintain data integrity, and document new processes. Her responsibility also extends to providing ongoing system support to Regional Program Managers (RPM’s). This included the role out of specialised GEMS Training to the RPMs prior to going live in the system. Helen also liaises with Developers to test and approve system solutions for GEMS issues and change requests.
