Technical Due Diligence

Evaluate the technical condition of real estate and minimise the risk when buying or selling

Is the property you want to buy or sell in good condition? Are the technical systems and fittings well-maintained or do they need to be modernised? We evaluate the technical equipment of real estate for buyers or sellers on the basis of holistic and transparent data, provide you with an overview of defects and required modernisation measures and draw your attention to any risks with regard to fire safety or planning permission. Our Technical Due Diligence provides you with hard facts for your negotiations and contracts.

01  Buy-side Due Diligence
The right purchase at the right price - in addition to the technical sustainability of the investment, it is also a question of how the new portfolio or property fits strategically and operationally with your overriding goals. Strengths and weaknesses as well as the initial situation on the seller side also play a role in the assessment.

We document the current technical state of affairs as a basis for negotiation, assess important criteria for the buyer side and recommend sensible short-term measures for profit-relevant value enhancement.

03     Environmental Due Diligence

Due to increasingly strict regulations, environmentally sound buildings are becoming ever more important and this is not only the case for industrial properties. We analyse the presence of site contamination as well as deleterious building materials or building substance damage caused by vermin and evaluate the data under consideration of both current and planned legislation.
