Feng Hu has almost 20 years of experience in the real estate industry, and is an expert in due diligence and real estate evaluation in real estate finance, property investment, acquisition, and appraisal. Feng joined Cushman & Wakefield in 2010. In 2022, he was appointed Deputy General Manager, overseeing management of the Beijing office. Feng also holds responsibility as Head of Valuation & Advisory Services for North China offices, including Beijing, Tianjin, Qingdao, Xi’an, Dalian, and Shenyang.
Feng has led the team in evaluation programs of the Wanda Commercial Real Estate Hong Kong H-share listing and privatization, as well as Haichang real estate and other listed properties. Since participating in China‘s REITs research and pilot projects in 2007, as the leader of REITs evaluation, he has led significant projects including the first domestic Quasi-REITs in 2014 — CITIC products and a series of subsequent projects such as CITIC Suning Quasi-REITs — as well as Huamao SKP Quasi-REITs, Xinpai apartment Quasi-REITs, and Poly rental housing Quasi-REITs.
Feng also worked on the first batch of China’s public REITs projects in 2021: Yantian Port warehousing and logistics, CICC global, Soochow Suzhou Industrial Park, Boshi China Merchants Shekou Industrial Park, AVIC Shougang biomass, as well as the second batch of Jianxin Zhongguancun Industrial Park REITs.
Feng is also a Council Member of the China Real Estate Association, Deputy Secretary-General of the Finance Branch of the China Real Estate Association, Council Member of the China Institute of Real Estate Appraisers and Agents, and China Chapter Board Member of the Asia Pacific Real Estate Association (APREA).
