A festive campaign of Cushman & Wakefield

08/12/2021

A special time is approaching – a time that everyone would like to spend with their loved ones, in a festive atmosphere, by a Christmas tree and among the aromas of Christmas dinner in the air. The Christmas time also makes us reflect and open our hearts to the needs of others more willingly.

Cushman & Wakefield Poland has been launching #CWsanta charity campaigns for several years. This year it has created a special festive game which will make the choice of a specific charity much easier than ever before. The clients, friends and employees of Cushman & Wakefield will be able to choose one organisation from three selected ones which they believe needs the most support. There is, however, no need to worry about the other two foundations. Funds from the client gift budget will be divided according to percentage results.

“At Cushman & Wakefield we regularly undertake charity work to support various goals, depending on the campaign selected by our employees. During the festive season we invite others to share with those who need it most. We believe that such an approach is close both to us and to our clients with whom we can change the world for the better,” says Anna Trochim, Head of HR Poland, Cushman & Wakefield.

The beneficiaries of Cushman & Wakefield's festive game will be as follows:

Synapsis Foundation

The mission of the Synapsis Foundation is to provide professional assistance to children and adults with autism and their families and to develop systemic solutions that will improve the quality of their lives. The aim of the Foundation is to strengthen, promote and support, among other things, the development of family and social ties, the recognition and dignity of individuals and their families, togetherness in the family and communities, and to foster mental health and skills development.

To Hear In Time

“To Hear In Time” is a project by Tomasz Zieliński, who teaches listening. Moved by the devastating suicide statistics among young people in Poland, he has launched a project whose main objective is to raise money to create places of help. Tomasz Zieliński organizes trainings for adults to teach them to listen and talk to young people and to support them in solving problems. Why? Because Poland has the second-highest rate of attempted suicides among teenagers in Europe. The organisation wants to reach every school in the country in the coming years to remind children how wonderful and unique they are. The Foundation also wants to tell their parents how to listen to them in a different, more profound way.

Exempt From Theory

Established in 2013, the Foundation supports school education by complementing it with space for gaining practical experience. It relies on a modern teaching methodology where doing a genuine social project helps develop skills driving innovation which are needed at work and in life such as empathy and a sense of agency, creativity, team work, communication and problem-solving. The Foundation organises a practical, national Exempt From Theory Olympiad during which students themselves organise social projects. An innovative educational platform guides them through the execution of their initiative.
