Real estate valuation has significant growth potential due to the increasing volume of domestic and cross-border transactions and investments requiring reliable analysis, the complexity of the legal landscape, and the rising importance of ESG standards. As a result, valuation professionals will play an increasingly vital role across the real estate ecosystem.
Valuation is an integral part of Cushman & Wakefield’s comprehensive advisory services across all real estate sectors (OneCushwake), ensuring that the firm addresses clients’ evolving needs. The development of this business line helps Cushman & Wakefield strengthen its competitive advantage and market position, supporting one of its priorities – the global “Strengthen the Core” goal.
“Valuation is a part of our business that has less exposure but is fundamental to real estate processes – so, we are investing in its development. The rapidly evolving landscape presents a tremendous opportunity to scale up our operations in this area, but this requires time and a strong focus on continuing to acquire more clients and expand the scope of our services. This is why we have created a new role for Monika Leszczyk, whose experience and strong skills in building long-term relationships with our business partners will be an invaluable asset. Additionally, the team’s projects will be led by another experienced manager, Marcin Malmon, whom we are delighted to welcome to Cushman & Wakefield,” comments Krzysztof Misiak, Head of Cushman & Wakefield Poland.
Marcin Malmon has over ten years of experience in commercial real estate advisory, including several years as an Associate Director at consultancy firm KPMG Poland. He is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS), a Recognised European Valuer (REV) and a licensed valuer in Poland. He graduated in Law from Maria Curie-Skłodowska University and Real Estate from Sheffield Hallam University. Leveraging his legal and real estate expertise, he specialises in investment, asset management, and commercial property valuation. Marcin is also a member of the Board of Directors of The European Group of Valuers’ Associations (TEGOVA) and runs the Szczerze o nieruchomościach blog, where he shares his insights into and analyses of real estate, valuation and investment trends.
Monika Leszczyk specialises in real estate valuation. Like Marcin, she holds MRICS and REV titles. She has many years of experience working for reputable advisory firms, where she was responsible for valuing diverse real estate assets. Monika specialises in managing portfolio valuations, cross-border projects covering commercial and residential property appraisals, as well as investment advisory. She combines her in-depth industry expertise with a hands-on approach to client needs. Monika holds a degree in International Economics, Marketing and Management from the Warsaw School of Economics. She also completed postgraduate studies in real estate brokerage, management and valuation, as well as business valuation studies at Kozminski University.
