Paweł Partyka, an expert with 11 years of experience in capital markets transactions and advisory, has been promoted to Head of Capital Markets Poland. He will lead a 13-strong team, with Marcin Kocerba appointed as Deputy Head. The restructuring of the Polish team will allow Jeff Alson to focus more strongly on his role as the Capital Markets Leader for Central and Eastern Europe and on supporting clients across EMEA.
“The restructuring of the Polish Capital Markets team is part of a long-term succession plan and reflects the existing division of leadership roles in it. Paweł and Marcin are among the leading experts in real estate investment transactions in Poland. Together, we make up a strong trio with responsibility for managing this business line of Cushman & Wakefield and expanding our presence on the Polish capital market,” comments Jeff Alson, Head of Capital Markets CEE, Cushman & Wakefield.
The Capital Markets team of Cushman & Wakefield provides a wide range of real estate investment services related to attracting equity partners and securing financing, selling and buying assets across all real estate sectors: industrial, office, retail and residential. In 2022 alone, Cushman & Wakefield’s Polish team advised on more than EUR 1.9 billion worth of investment deals, including the sale of buildings B and C of The Warsaw HUB in what was the largest office transaction in CEE. Last year, it also worked on the disposal of Żabka Distribution Centre near Warsaw, one of the most modern logistics properties in Europe, and on the acquisition of several office buildings, including Face2Face in Katowice, MidPoint 71 in Wrocław, and Astrum Business Park in Warsaw.
“We have for years been consistently strengthening our position as a leading real estate services firm in Poland, while further enhancing our service quality and offer. The competitive advantage of Cushman & Wakefield lies in our entrepreneurial approach and taking a forward-looking view of the market. Having such a great team of experts who have worked for Cushman & Wakefield for a long time and who value it for its atmosphere and growth opportunities, we are well-positioned to deliver on our long-term strategy. The understanding we have developed over recent years is also relevant as it directly translates into the quality we deliver to our clients and the satisfaction we get from what we do. The opportunity to lead such an exceptional team represents an additional incentive to act and a huge privilege for me,” says Paweł Partyka, Head of Capital Markets Poland, Cushman & Wakefield.
Paweł Partyka has worked for Cushman & Wakefield since 2015. During his professional career, he has advised on more than EUR 5 billion worth of investment transactions. Paweł is a specialist in logistics and retail sales and acquisitions. He is a graduate of the Warsaw School of Economics and Tilburg University.
