7 October 2024 saw the opening of Fabryka Ogólnego Rozwoju (General Development Factory) at the Outlet Lublin shopping centre. This innovative sports centre for children and teenagers offers holistic development training based on a proprietary programme. The new tenant has quickly attracted new customers, boosting the sales of other stores in the retail complex.
Within just a week since the opening of the sports centre, Outlet Lublin recorded nearly a 20% increase in footfall, with some tenants reporting up to a threefold rise in turnover. This demonstrates how the right tenant, aligned with customers’ needs, can effectively enhance the overall performance of a shopping centre.
A new approach to sports
Fabryka Ogólnego Rozwoju (FOR) is a unique place established by Paweł Woliński, a multiple medallist at the Polish and World Wrestling Championships. FOR is exceptional in that it fosters the development of all motor skills, ranging from gymnastics and stability to strength training and martial arts.
"Fabryka Ogólnego Rozwoju is a perfect addition to our tenant mix. With its innovative approach to sports, it attracts thousands of visitors, both families with children and teenagers. FOR has been a tremendous success which has not only translated into increased customer traffic in our shopping centre but has also boosted the performance of our other tenants,” says Artur Pleskot, Director of Outlet Lublin from Cushman & Wakefield.
