Cushman & Wakefield, global real estate advisor, has appointed Marian Fridrich as Head of Slovakia, with the aim of further strengthening its dominant position in the country.
Fridrich began his real estate career at Cushman & Wakefield, in leasing, and returned to the firm more than a year ago as Deputy Head of Slovakia, with responsibility for establishing the firm’s Capital Markets, Research and Valuation service lines and driving business development in the country.
He re-joined from IAD Investments, where he was of Head of Transactions and was responsible for sales and acquisitions of commercial properties in the CEE region, as well as being a member of the Board of Directors of shopping centre Laugaricio in Trencin. Prior to that, Marian worked in real estate financing at Tatra Banka.
Fridrich will oversee a market-leading team of 40 professionals based in Bratislava. These include Barbora Kostrecova, Head of Asset Services, Katarína Paule, Head of Retail Agency, Roman Gazdik, Head of Office Agency, Tomas Nemethy, Head of Valuation & Advisory, Patrik Jansco, Head of Industrial Agency and Pavel Podhora, Head of Project & Development Services.
