Global commercial real estate services firm, Cushman & Wakefield, announced today the addition of two senior underwriters, Eugene Venanzi and Jonathan Feirman, to its Diligence Advisory Group in New York, as part of its strategic plan to expand its suite of client advisory services. The team specializes in underwriting for debt and equity investments, financial diligence for portfolio acquisitions, asset surveillance, feasibility studies, and credit/risk management analysis for regulatory and investment purposes.
The Diligence Advisory Group, which was launched three years ago, has grown to 60+ professionals globally and has worked on over $61 billion in transactions across the United States and Europe. The group’s advisement capacity also extends to equity investments on behalf of sovereign wealth funds, private equity firms and international banks.
Eugene Venanzi has been brought on as a Managing Director and brings more than two decades of real estate industry experience focusing on underwriting “high touch” transactions, including bridge, mezzanine and portfolio loans, B-piece acquisitions and equity investments. Mr. Venanzi has previously held senior underwriting roles in Situs’ Structured Solutions Group, Pembrook Capital Management and UBS Investment Bank/Dillon Read Capital. He holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Foreign Service from Georgetown University.
Jonathan Feirman is a Senior Director in the group and brings 15 years of experience underwriting a variety of real estate transactions, including CMBS and balance sheet loans, as well as mezzanine and equity investments. He was most recently the Vice President in Situs’ Structured Solutions Group and has had previous stints at Basis Investment Group, Santander Realty Capital, and UBS Investment Bank/Dillon Read Capital. Mr. Feirman attended Washington University in St. Louis.
