BELLEVUE, WA January 9, 2019 – Cushman & Wakefield (C&W) announced today the re-acquisition of multi-family team Pete Shelton and Kim Grant. The team will be based in the firm’s Bellevue office, specializing in the acquisition and disposition of multifamily investment properties and urban development sites in Seattle and throughout the Pacific Northwest. Shelton and Grant have established themselves as a force in the Puget Sound multifamily market and together have closed sales worth more than $2.5 billion.
“We are thrilled to have the dynamic duo of Shelton and Grant back together servicing our all-important institutions and high net-worth individuals. It’s a match made in heaven.” says Dave Magee, Managing Principal, Cushman & Wakefield Washington.
Shelton, who returned to C&W in March 2018, is an institutional multifamily market expert working exclusively with institutions, high-net-worth individuals and private capital groups. Most recently he was an Executive Director at Institutional Property Advisors (IPA), a division of Marcus & Millichap.
Grant also comes back the Cushman & Wakefield fold from IPA with previous experience in the property management field, where she was instrumental in the management of a 2,400-unit multifamily portfolio in the greater Seattle marketplace worth more than $200 million. BRE Properties, at the time a West Coast-based real estate investment trust, recruited Grant during the initial lease-up of its then-largest property, located in downtown Bellevue.
Shelton says “I’m excited to be reunited with Kim at Cushman & Wakefield where our professional partnership began. They’ve always been dedicated to our success by providing the platform, resources and capabilities to allow us to service our clients at the highest level. I chose Cushman & Wakefield because of their strong reputation that is built on a foundation to service the needs of their clients, and the team behind the organization is dedicated to be the best in the industry.”
