New York, NY – Cushman & Wakefield announced today that the real estate services firm has arranged a 4,897-square-foot, seven year lease for Spark Capital, a leading VC firm, at 165 Mercer Street in the SoHo neighborhood of Lower Manhattan.
Cushman & Wakefield’s Douglas Regal, Jamie Katcher, Sebastian Infante and Chelsea Cox represented the developer, FLANK, in the transaction. The tenant, Spark Capital, was represented by Christina Jones, Eva Shih of T3 Advisors.
“We are thrilled to welcome Spark Capital as the newest tenant at 165 Mercer Street,” said Douglas Regal of Cushman & Wakefield. “Attracting a top-tier VC firm such as Spark is a testament to the successful renovation of 165 Mercer from a parking garage into the premier boutique office building in SoHo.”
165 Mercer Street recently underwent a full renovation while preserving the feel of the 19th century SoHo cast iron building. Tenant amenities feature 24-hour access through a high design lobby, oversized weight and chain wood windows, exceptional ceiling heights, and polished concrete floors. Office units are delivered with full mechanical distribution, allowing for plug-and-play office suites including designer bathroom and kitchenettes that echo the buildings modern sensibilities. To date, the only remaining availability in the building is the duplex penthouse on the 5th & 6th floors, which includes a private terrace overlooking Mercer Street.
Located in the popular neighborhood of SoHo, 165 Mercer Street boasts an accessible location in Lower Manhattan. The building is located within close proximity to ten subway lines at Broadway-Lafayette Street Station, Spring Street Station and the Second Avenue Station.
