Hopewell, NJ – Geosyntec Consultants has leased 8,886 square feet at Lindy Communities’ Princeton Place at Hopewell, in a long-term transaction orchestrated by Cushman & Wakefield. The global environmental consulting and engineering firm will relocate its regional office from Ewing, N.J., to the three-building, Class A office campus in a flight-to-amenities move.
Cushman & Wakefield’s Todd Elfand, Kevin Carton, Paul Giannone and Joe Vacca, based in the commercial real estate services firm’s Iselin, N.J., office, represented Lindy Communities as long-time leasing agents for Princeton Place at Hopewell. Geosyntec Consultants was represented by Steve Tolkach from Newmark Knight Frank.
“Princeton Place at Hopewell’s trophy-quality space, amenity package and state-of-the-art infrastructure were major draws for Geosyntec,” Elfand noted. “The property’s 550-acre, collegiate campus-style environment – punctuated by pedestrian rock bridges, ponds and greenways – includes a 1.5 mile jogging trail, two ball fields, volleyball courts, basketball courts, tennis courts and a fitness center. It truly rivals anything in this market.”
Elfand added that Geosyntec Consultants will take advantage of a distinctive branding opportunity and Princeton Place at Hopewell’s building design flexibility to create a high-profile, optimal working environment. Geosyntec works with private and public sector clients to address new ventures and complex problems involving the environment, natural resources and civil infrastructure. Founded in 1983, the organization maintains more than 80 offices in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland and Australia.
Located at 1700, 1750 and 1800 American Blvd., proximate to interstates 95 and 295, the 1.8-million-square-foot Princeton Place at Hopewell campus today serves as home to a roster of leading-name tenants including Horizon Blue Cross, Janssen Research, Cenlar FSB, BNY Mellon/Albridge and Bank of America. Tenants enjoy superior construction, state-of-the-art environment and high-end finishes, along with best-in-class food service, specialty food trucks, collaboration and conference areas and more than a 4/1,000 SF parking ratio.
“We’re proud that Geosyntec has chosen our development to be their new home,” said Elaine Lindy, partner of Lindy Communities. Chief Operating Officer Brian Kroker added, “Geosyntec Consultants is a highly-regarded leader in scientific and engineering technology, and we’re excited to welcome them to the Princeton Place campus.”
The Cushman & Wakefield team is currently marketing another premium office opportunity with availabilities from 5,800 to 30,000 square feet at Princeton Place at Hopewell. An additional 6,000 square feet of lower-level space is ideally suited for data center, laboratory or storage use. “Office leasing velocity is increasing across the board along the I-95/295 market corridor,” Carton noted. “Tenants continue to seek ways to compress their footprints to gain efficiencies, but they also are highly focused on offering employee environments that promote work/life balance. Geosyntec Consultants’ commitment at Princeton Place at Hopewell and ongoing inquiries by additional prospective tenants speak to this trend.”
