Saddle Brook, NJ – 110 Market Street, a new retail development in Saddle Brook, has reached full occupancy following three leases orchestrated by Cushman & Wakefield. As exclusive agent for the 8,000-square-foot neighborhood shopping center, the commercial real estate services firm’s David Townes and Alana Friedman brokered the recent long-term transactions on behalf of property ownership, Malas Development.
Most recently, Townes and Friedman worked directly with Dunkin’ (1,802 square feet) in the local relocation of an existing franchise. Bubbakoo Burritos (1,695 square feet), represented by Gary Kraus of Pierson Commercial, also recently committed to 110 Market Street as well.
“These two popular concepts are great additions to round out the tenant base at 110 Market Street,” noted Mark Malas, managing member. “Our vision to create a retail offering that would attract complementary businesses and bring desirable new options for area residents has truly become reality.”
Earlier this year, the Cushman & Wakefield team brought Moxie Salon & Beauty Bar (1,831 square feet, represented by Florian Suserman of Ripco Real Estate) to the center. These tenants join Bella, a nail salon occupying 3,000 square feet.
“From the outset, we targeted dining and personal services tenants for this modern high-profile asset,” Townes noted. “The resulting mix of national and regional retail brands is defining 110 Market Street as a new retail go-to spot for the community.”
A redeveloped former stand-alone restaurant property, 110 Market Street also includes eight apartment units. Featuring high-end finishes and strong curb appeal, the mixed-use asset occupies a prime location on a busy local thoroughfare. More than 650,000 people live within five miles of 110 Market Street. This desirable Bergen County address offers easy access via Route 15, I-80 and the Garden State Parkway.
Cushman & Wakefield’s New Jersey retail team provides comprehensive, integrated real estate services for retail occupiers, landlords and investors – marketing properties, aligning brands to opportunities and providing clients with intelligence for smart decision-making. This includes serving as strategic advisors for tenants, whether they have a single request or require a full market entry plan, and as long-term partners for owners looking to market and tenant their properties for maximum performance. The team currently represents more than 1 million square feet of retail space throughout the region.
