Cushman & Wakefield Hires Michael Movshovich to Lead Newly-Formed Alternative Investment Advisory Group

Cushman & Wakefield announced today that the real estate services firm has hired Michael Movshovich as an Executive Managing Director to lead its new Alternative Investment Advisory Group in New York.

New York, NY - Cushman & Wakefield announced today that the real estate services firm has hired Michael Movshovich as an Executive Managing Director to lead its new Alternative Investment Advisory Group in New York. He will be based out of the firm’s Midtown Manhattan office.

As the head of the Alternative Investment Advisory Group, Movshovich will drive the firm’s strategy on advising clients in the private equity, venture capital and hedge fund sectors, using his deep understanding of the industry and Cushman & Wakefield’s platform to ensure clients are receiving exceptional service and innovative solutions for all their business and real estate needs. The Alternative Investment Advisory Group is part of Cushman & Wakefield’s Industry & Specialty Advisory Group platform that provides specialization across more than 20 sectors, designed to meet the ever-changing and complex needs of our clients.

Movshovich is a trusted tenant advisor and strategist. In addition to his focus on alternative investment clients, he will be an integral part of Bruce Mosler’s acclaimed team, which closed more than 150 deals totaling over 5 million square feet in 2019. Movshovich has worked with an impressive list of corporate institutions and boutique private companies in technology, advertising/PR and media/information. He has assisted numerous firms launching new ventures and spinning off from larger parent organizations. He has also helped develop and implement leasing strategies for multiple leading landlords in New York City, including real estate private equity firms, real estate investment trusts and family offices. Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield, Movshovich spent more than 12 years at CBRE.
