gyro Signs Lease at Strietmann Center in Over-the-Rhine

gyro, Dentsu Aegis Network’s global B2B flagship agency and the Association of National Advertiser’s (ANA) “2019 Global Large B2B Agency of the Year”, will move its Cincinnati offices to the metro area’s hottest neighborhood.

CINCINNATI - gyro has agreed to an 8,600 square foot (sf) lease at Strietmann Center, the Cincinnati Central Business District’s only LEED Gold Certified building, Cushman & Wakefield announced today.

Cushman & Wakefield’s Jordan Weidner and Adam Ardise represented gyro in lease negotiations. Scott Abernethy and Michelle Klingenberg represented Grandin Properties, which owns Strietmann Center.

“Grandin Properties is delighted to welcome gyro to The Strietmann Center,” said Peg Wyant, CEO of Grandin Properties. “When we purchased the old Strietmann Biscuit Company Building, our vision was that it could become a place where creativity rules, drawing and engaging talent. It has become just that - a Center that attracts the world’s best creative companies.

The seven-story Strietmann Center, which includes 84,152 sf of primarily office space, is located at 231 West 12th Street, just off Central Parkway. The building, which was recently renovated, is a short walk from Washington Park and the 12th and Vine Light Rail station.
“Strietmann Center’s location and creative vibe has been key in attracting top-notch advertising and branding firms,” said Abernethy. “These firms recognize the need to create an environment that retains and attracts top talent. Strietmann delivers that.”

Strietmann is in the Over-the-Rhine (OTR) district, Cincinnati’s most cutting-edge neighborhood and a common target for creative firms. Cushman & Wakefield has identified OTR as one of the country’s top Cool Streets.

gyro will move its offices from Kenwood. About 40 employees are expected to work out of the new OTR location.
