The prestigious Hall of Fame honor was presented at the 44th Annual ASVB Awards Banquet held on February 27th at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara.
The ASVB Annual Awards Banquet brings together Silicon Valley’s top commercial real estate professionals to recognize the outstanding accomplishments of the broker/broker teams winning in various categories for their Silicon Valley Commercial Real Estate activity. A maximum of two professionals are inducted into the ASVB Hall of Fame each year.
Fox has been a highly regarded member of the ASVB since 1997 and served on its board for seven years including as president in 2010-2011. He’s also earned some of the Association’s top awards during his career, including Rookie of the Year (1997), R&D Broker of the Year (2002) and Investment Broker of the Year (2015). During his more than 20-year career, Fox has transacted roughly $8 billion in sales and leases, comprising over 30.6 million square feet (msf) of building sales and 6.3 msf in leasing, plus over 100 land acres sold.
Eric Fox said, “The incredible culture of our industry in Silicon Valley I observed when I started my career continues to survive and thrive. While we are naturally competitive with each other, ours is also a small community wherein we ultimately help each other make deals, make a living, and raise our families. Our community is tremendously collaborative, and the ASVB is a major reason why.” He continued, “It was my absolute privilege and honor to serve on its board for many years. I believe strongly in the organization’s mission and hope many brokers involved in the ASVB will consider devoting time in their career to this board.”
Active in his community, Fox has also worked on the boards of several nonprofits and public entities. He has also served on the boards of the YMCA in San Jose, Hillbrook School in Los Gatos, and currently NAIOP Silicon Valley. He has also served on the Parks Commission in the Town of Los Gatos and was its Chair in the final year of his three-year term.

The firm’s Steve Horton was awarded the Office/R&D Broker of the Year, Walt Stephenson took home the prize for Industrial-Procuring Broker of the Year, and Mike Thompson was recognized in two categories for his work representing landlords and tenants, winning Most Listings and Most Procuring Broker of the Year—both awards based on number of deals represented.
