Jared Londry, Rob Cochran and Nolan Ashton of Cushman & Wakefield represented the seller, Cobalt Property Group, in the transaction. Highland Ventures, a separate account client of Insite Properties, acquired the property.
“134 Meeting Street presented an unparalleled opportunity to acquire a distinguished presence in the market with a best-in-class building offering credit, term, and noteworthy tenant retention,” Londry said.
Located at Meeting and Queen Streets, the 93% leased building offers modern systems, high-end finishes, renovated elevators and one of the highest parking ratios in the Central Business District. Notable tenants include K&L Gates, an international law firm, and Haynsworth, Sinkler & Boyd, a South Carolina-based law firm founded in 1887.
The building was renovated in 2015 to include new HVAC equipment with digital controls; upgraded lobbies, restrooms, and common corridors; and a new 1,702-square-foot fitness center with showers.
