The industrial facility is located in an area known in large part for its strategic location to serve Northern Nevadans. The state also operates another storage facility in Las Vegas to serve Southern Nevadans.
Due to the critical nature and use for the equipment, it was essential that a facility was identified immediately. In collaboration with the State of Nevada, Cushman & Wakefield played an integral part in being able to quickly identify and secure the space, a role led by Brian Armon and Anthony Machabee of the firm’s local Reno office.
The Nevada Department of Emergency Management’s (DEM) mission is coordinating mitigation, preparedness, response, and recovery programs and resources through partnerships to build resilient communities for Nevada’s residents and visitors.
