Five Cushman & Wakefield Professionals Named GlobeSt. Real Estate Forum’s Women of Influence 2021

NEW YORK - Cushman & Wakefield, a leading global real estate services firm, is pleased to recognize that Nadine Augusta, Deb Boucher, Antonia Cardone, Rachel Casanova and Barbi Reuter have been named this year’s GlobeSt. Real Estate Forum’s Women of Influence in the categories of Diversity Champion, Top Brokers in Tenant Representation, Top Consultants/Advisors, and Female Humanitarian, respectively. 

GlobeSt. Real Estate Forum recognizes female commercial real estate professionals for their remarkable contributions to the industry. The winners within each category have personally impacted the market and significantly driven the industry to new heights through their outstanding achievements and success.

GlobeSt. Real Estate Forum’s Women of Influence 2021: Cushman & Wakefield Honorees

Nadine Augusta, Chief Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Officer, has been named one of GlobeSt. Real Estate Forum’s Women of Influence in the category of Diversity Champion. The honorees of this category serve and advocate for female advancement within the commercial real estate industry and within their organizations and act as a catalyst for change and equality within the industry. 

In her role as Chief Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Officer, Augusta’s core focus is to drive global commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion as a firmwide priority. This includes creating an environment that offers equitable and fair growth opportunities for all employees and the businesses with which Cushman & Wakefield works, while ensuring the firm brings diverse thought and expertise to its clients. 

Deb Boucher, Executive Managing Director in Cushman & Wakefield’s Raleigh-Durham office, has been named one of GlobeSt. Real Estate Forum’s Women of Influence in the category of Top Brokers in Tenant Representation. The honorees of this category exhibit remarkable ability to consistently meet their clients’ needs, have a proven track record of unwavering integrity and discipline, and are driven with an entrepreneurial spirit and passion for the art of the deal. 

With nearly 20 years of experience in corporate real estate consulting spanning office, flex, life science (including laboratory), and technology sectors, Boucher has built an impressive list of long-term clients in the Raleigh-Durham-Research Triangle Region, as well as global accounts—a product of her consultative approach and natural talent for connecting clients with solutions. Boucher also contributes to several leadership roles at Cushman & Wakefield including leading the Tenant Advisory Group’s annual conference for two years, participating in both the Tenant Advisory Group and Women’s Integrated Network’s mentoring programs, and co-leading the national Life Science Advisory Group.

Antonia Cardone, Senior Managing Director, Americas Total Workplace Leader and Rachel Casanova, Senior Managing Director, Workplace Innovation, have both been recognized in the category of Top Consultants/Advisors. The honorees of this category oversee real estate strategies, operations and decisions of an enterprise and have been dominant forces behind major expansion, contraction and/or relocation decisions for some of corporate America’s largest players. 

Cardone leads the Total Workplace strategy for the Americas as well as the Workplace Strategy & Change Management team based in San Francisco. She is a proven leader who has delivered on superior workplace and change management projects with key client accounts, and alongside her team, creates strategic plans that focus on the employee experience, creating dynamic and flexible workplace environments and optimizing space utilization to “future ready” buildings and portfolios.

Casanova leads the Tri-State Workplace Innovation practice, helping companies grasp complex and critical workplace innovation strategies by providing solutions for a range of workplace programs. She is a passionate leader who has more than 25 years of diverse industry experience advising companies on how to transform their real estate assets to reinforce long-term business strategies and creates a workplace experience unique to the company’s corporate culture.

Barbi Reuter, CEO/Principal of Cushman & Wakefield | PICOR, an alliance office of the global Cushman & Wakefield firm, has been named one of GlobeSt. Real Estate Forum’s Women of Influence in the category of Female Humanitarians. This category recognizes women who have made strides in working to improve the welfare of humankind through significant contributions of charitable work, philanthropy, education, and service to benefit one’s community.

Reuter is highly active in the community and industry and often writes and presents on the regional commercial real estate market. She is president-elect of the CREW Network global board, active in Southern Arizona Leadership Council (SALC), and serves as director for Sun Corridor Inc. and YMCA of Southern Arizona. She mentors young leaders and industry professionals across the country through various affiliations and was named 2019 Woman of the Year by Greater Tucson Leadership.

The GlobeSt. Real Estate Forum will host its second annual GlobeSt. Women of Influence Awards Dinner to honor the 2021 winners on July 22, 2021 in Park City, Utah.
