EL PASO, Texas, December 1, 2021 – Cushman & Wakefield announced today that the commercial real estate services firm has hired preeminent valuation professional Linda Powers, MAI, CCIM, R/W-AC to the company’s Valuation & Advisory Practice. Though part of the Houston team, she will sit in El Paso, Texas.
As Senior Director she will produce high-quality appraisals serving the El Paso and southern New Mexico areas. Powers brings expertise in both self-storage and multifamily appraisal and is approved by the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs to perform market studies for the Low Income Housing Tax Credit program and MAP certified by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield, she owned her own company, The Powers Group. She will continue to produce appraisals on behalf of her clients as well as those of the firm.

Powers sits on the Board of Directors for the Appraisal Institute where she is the Chair of Region VIII and a member of the Strategic Planning Committee. She is also past president of the Appraisal Institute’s Rio Grande chapter. Additionally, Powers is a member of the Greater El Paso chapter of CCIM where she serves on the Board of Directors and Education Committee, as well as a member of the IRWA’s Tucson chapter. She is a member of the Greater El Paso, Las Cruces and New Mexico Association of Realtors organizations. She is also a member of CARNM, Commercial Association of Realtors New Mexico.
