Chester, NY – Cushman & Wakefield in partnership with Pyramid Brokerage Company announced today that the real estate services firm has arranged the sale of the Meadow Hill Apartments, a 108-unit, newly constructed community located at 44 High Street in Chester.
A Cushman & Wakefield and Pyramid Brokerage Company team of Andrew Merin, Brian Whitmer, Ryan Dowd, Robert Scherreik, John Coladonato and Peter Welch represented the seller, a privately held New York based developer, and procured the buyer, a privately held owner and operator of apartment communities.
“This unique deal presented investors with a rare offering of high-quality new construction, as it is one of only three properties within a 12-mile radius that was constructed post-2015,” said Whitmer. “The Meadow Hill apartment community caters to the area’s dense resident pool and is a prime target for the urban flight to the suburbs and the growing pool of move-down renters in the surrounding area.”
The Meadow Hill Apartments consist of six three-story residential buildings with a total of 108 luxury units. The buildings are made up of 36 one-bedroom units and 72 two-bedroom units. The units feature large floor plans with high-quality finishes, including at minimum nine-foot ceilings, high-end appliances, gas cooking, granite countertops, hardwood floors and in-unit stackable washers and dryers.
The community offers premier amenities, including private outdoor entrances, outdoor patios with grills, balconies or patios, a children’s playground, 24-hour emergency maintenance and more.
Situated in Chester in proximity to New York City, Northern New Jersey and Westchester, the Meadow Hill Apartments are situated near Route 94, Route 17, Interstate 87 and Interstate 84.
