Hudson Valley – Cushman & Wakefield announced today that its New Jersey-based retail team led by David Townes has arranged 13 leases across the Hudson Valley totaling 52,775 square feet. The team, which also includes Alana Friedman, John Coladonato and Carl Wunderlich, has worked with a multitude of retail tenants and landlords across New York and Connecticut.
“We are pleased to have been able to work with such a wide variety of tenants and landlords across New York and Connecticut,” said Townes. “The retail market is in an upward trajectory and we were able to lease three different shopping centers in Rockland County to 100% occupancy. Retailers are looking to expand in a range of locations and we are thrilled to have solidified storefronts for these fantastic retailers across the Hudson Valley.”
Recent retail transactions across New York and Connecticut include:
- 13,000 square feet on behalf of Catch Air at the Shoppes at Market Street located at 400 Market Street in Nanuet, NY. The team represented the landlord, Millbrook Properties, and worked directly with Catch Air in the transaction.
- 6,076 square feet on behalf of Saxon Hall, a recreational ax-throwing venue, at 1400 NY-300 in Newburgh, NY. The team represented the landlord and worked directly with Saxon Hall in the transaction.
- 6,000 square feet on behalf of Phenix Salon Suites Crossroads Shopping Center located at 443 Tarrytown Road in White Plains, NY. The team represented the tenant and worked directly with the owner, Acadia Realty, in the transaction.
- 5,700 square feet on behalf of Tottini at Colonial Square located at 329 Route 58 in Airmont, NY. The team represented the landlord, Maxim Realty Trust, and worked directly with Tottini in the transaction.
