Washington, D.C. – Cushman & Wakefield announced that the real estate services firm has hired Matthew Goldberg as Senior Director and George Men as Director. Goldberg and Men will serve as tenant representation leasing specialists focusing primarily on the office sector. They will be based out of the firm’s Washington, D.C. office.
“We are thrilled to welcome both Matt and George to Cushman & Wakefield,” said Ryan Miller, Managing Principal of Washington, D.C. “I am confident they will contribute to our collaborative culture of winning and help us continue to provide exceptional, innovative guidance to our clients.”
Goldberg specializes in tenant representation, advising clients both locally and nationally on strategic planning and lease negotiations. For the previous 6 years, Goldberg worked at The Ezra Company and Avison Young, once acquired. Using his experience from previous careers, Goldberg sourced a 20+ location portfolio, which included a 235,000-square-foot headquarters requirement in Reston, Virginia during his first year working in the industry. Throughout the pandemic, Goldberg helped with outreach and virtual events for the D.C. Metro Chapter of his alma mater, James Madison University.
“Having the ability to utilize Cushman & Wakefield’s global platform of services will give me the opportunity to expand my service offerings and better serve my clients,” said Goldberg.
Men joins Cushman & Wakefield after five years with Cresa, where he specialized in tenant representation across the Washington, D.C. region. Men has represented a range of corporate, non-profit, association and foreign government agency space users both locally and nationally.
