New York, NY – Cushman & Wakefield announced today that the real estate services firm has hired Mike Mathias as Vice Chair in New York. He will also serve as Co-Chair of the firm’s NYC Technology Practice Group, a group focused on advising occupiers across the technology sector and throughout the full real estate lifecycle. Mathias will be joined by Sean Hoffman and Richard Johns who will serve as Directors. The team, which will focus on advising occupiers, will be based out of the firm’s Midtown Manhattan office.

Mathias has over 14 years of commercial real estate experience and has represented numerous fast growing occupier clients globally and from multiple industries, including technology, finance, media and entertainment. He joins Cushman & Wakefield from Savills where he was responsible for developing and executing creative real estate solutions on behalf of his clients. Throughout his career, Mathias has been recognized with a myriad of industry awards.

Hoffman and Johns have extensive backgrounds representing occupier clients with a focus across the technology and financial services sectors. Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield, both Hoffman and Johns worked at Savills where they specialized in tenant representation to help clients implement a data-driven approach to grow strategically, maximize employee recruitment and retention and optimize their real estate spend.
