Located within the heart of Austin’s Central Business District at 4th Street and Colorado Street, Cushman & Wakefield’s new Austin office captures an entire floor to allow for continued growth while providing employee access to state-of-the-art amenities. 405 Colorado amenities include multi-functional conference rooms, a 14th floor sky lounge featuring terraces with outdoor meeting spaces, an on-site café, bike storage, fitness center, concierge services, and 24-hour on-site security.
The 25-story office building, a new addition to the Austin skyline, was completed by Brandywine Realty Trust in 2021 and is LEED Silver certified. The Class A building is the first project under the City of Austin Great Streets Development Program to be developed on 4th Street.
Cushman & Wakefield’s Austin office move comes after 11 years of operating off Cesar Chavez Boulevard in the Second Street District.
“Having the opportunity to experience multiple working conditions during the last two years in our current office, our workplace discovery process was a critical step to finding a real estate solution to ensure existing employees, new hires, client experience and diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives were integrated seamlessly with our vision of flexibility,” said Ryan W. Kasten, Cushman & Wakefield Managing Principal of Austin and San Antonio.
Cushman & Wakefield’s Project and Development Services team, led by Eric Smith, is spearheading construction project management to customize the office space with the partnership of IA Architects and general contractor NOVO Construction.
“Our flexible and agile workplace strategy and development was adopted from our own award-winning thought leadership,” said Kasten. “Created with data-driven and tech-enabled design, our new workplace will serve as a living lab for our clients who depend on our experts for our leading advisory services.”
