Houston, Texas – July 11, 2022 – Cushman & Wakefield announced today that the real estate services firm has hired Paula Thoreen to lead the company’s Valuation & Advisory (V&A) Strategic Accounts and Client Development. Thoreen is based in Houston, Texas. As Executive Managing Director, Thoreen will focus on developing business across the platform’s Americas portfolio.
Thoreen joins Cushman & Wakefield from serving as Colliers’ V&A Institutional Client Lead for the Americas. She and her team have provided property value appraisals for institutional funds, consulting for property tax matters, and provided support for litigation over environmental concerns and building defect issues, lease arbitration, and property due diligence. She has worked on behalf of clients such as AIG, Altus, BGO, Barings, Brookfield, Clarion, Everwest, Hines, Invesco, JPMorgan Chase, Nuveen, Situs and more across 150 cities in the U.S. and Canada.
Thoreen earned a B.S. in Business Real Estate from the University of Florida. She is Vice Chair for the Valuation Committee at NCREIF (National Council of Real Estate Investment Fiduciaries) and is also a past Board Member of the Counselors of Real Estate and the past Chair of the Houston CRE Chapter. Thoreen is a founding member
and past President of CREW Houston.
