Washington, DC – Cushman & Wakefield announced today that the real estate services firm has hired Brian Wood as Executive Managing Director where he will represent and advise office tenants.

Wood has over two decades of real estate experience, focusing on tenant representation in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area and across the country. Throughout his tenure, Wood has executed in excess of six million square feet of transactions on behalf of his clients, at an estimated value of $800 million.
Wood has represented a variety of tenants, from Fortune 500 companies to trade associations and non-profits, in lease negotiations and interpretations across more than 75 markets nationwide. He was a prominent member of the team that completed the 300,000-square-foot relocation of Nestle’s headquarters from California to Arlington, Virginia, which won both the Washington Business Journal and CREBA Deal of the Year awards in 2017. More recently, Wood advised organizations such as China Telecom Americas, Orano USA and Salem Media Group in developing and implementing post-pandemic real estate strategies.

Prior to Cushman & Wakefield, Wood served as Senior Vice President of tenant representation in the occupier advisory group at CBRE. Wood received his bachelor’s degree in both economics and political science from St. Mary’s College of Maryland. He resides in Washington, D.C. with his wife and two children and is an avid skier and sailor.
